Araştırmacı gazetecilik damarım kabarınca biraz kurcaladım interneti ve öğrendim ki şarkının asıl sahibi Nina Simone değil. Feelin’ Good, İngiliz iki besteci tarafından (Anthony Newley ve Leslie Bricusse) tarafından “The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd” isimli müzikal çin yazılmış ve Cy Grant tarafından söylenmiş. Parça hemen ardından başta Nina Simone olmak üzere onlarca kişi tarafından da yorumlanmış. Sanırım en hızlısı Nina Simone çünkü o, aynı yıl; 1965′te yani, I Put a Spell on You isimli albümünde yer vermiş parçaya…
